No time to maintain regrets

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

This is my new favorite verse. Why? Because it reminds me that no matter what has happened on this earth, the good, the bad and the ugly, it cannot compare to the Glory that is waiting for us in Heaven!

Below are a few quotes from Beth Moore. She mentioned these in her Inheritance Bible Study I heard last night. I hope they jump out at you like they did for me!

“I can’t live effectively today until I know what to do with my yesterday”

“The goal is not to be happy, the goal is to be used.”

It may be strange to consider a current bad circumstance as a Blessing, but “strange Blessings are Blessings just the same”.

“We will never be able to be successful in our today unless we ask God to sanctify our yesterdays. Until then, the enemy will be standing on our past and our life experiences” and claiming them as his own playground.

We need to “claim our pasts failures for the Glory of God”!

Favorite quote of the session: “Jesus knows how scary it is to be us. He does not take it lightly.”

When seeking to Glorify Our Father and King, we have no time to maintain regrets. Yes, we go back to them to see God’s Glory in those areas, but we do not remain in them. We go back, claim the victory we have in Christ, and continue forward so that when the enemy tries to throw them in our face down the road, we can just laugh in his face. Then, and only then, will he be fully defeated in those areas of our lives.

You’ve got nothing on me, Satan! Bring it! Cause whatever you think you have, I will turn to my God to sanctify!
